Recently I have been designing a storyboard for the main titles (Arkham Overture), which shows monsters/people/places from the Cthulhu Mythos (I think it just shows the nature of how the stories are loosely connected in a cycle). These include Y'ha-nth'lei, the meteorite from The Color Out of Space crashing, Peaslee descending into Pnakotus, the Mountains of Madness, dark Yuggoth, and more. When my name (as the actor of Walter Gilman and the Black Pharaoh) comes up, it features a scene in the crypt of Nephren-Ka, with him, the Shining Trapezohedron, and the Haunter of the Dark.
Well, we've started a-planning that shot! We're building the set. I will be a silhouette, and I will be green-screened into the crypt. We are featuring a relatively small statue of Anubis in the set, so it will look HUGE when it is green-screened above me.
Also, we talked with Mike Dalager about possibly putting the Mutated Trinity in the credits. This we were denied - rightly so, I should say - but there is a small possibility that Mr. Rivera will produce a brand-new piece of art for us. I don't have high hopes that Mr. Rivera will agree...but hey, a guy can hope, can't he?
Wish us luck - we'll need it.
